The Year We Turned Thirteen - In Focus - Lensational's 2025-2026 Impact Report
This year, thanks to your support, we gained a clearer understanding of the areas where our work matters most. We deepened engagement with women in geographically isolated communities, contributed insights and recommendations to policy reviews, and increased global visibility for the photographers in our network.
We strengthened our support to photographers through new grant‑funded commissions. Our climate‑focused work expanded in Kenya and Jamaica through our partnership with the National Adaptation Plan Global Network, ensuring their perspectives shape national planning. We also worked with Sightsavers to turn the experiences of women with disabilities into insights for risk‑reduction in Nairobi. Across all projects, we intentionally captured wider social insights—shifts in family life, economic pressures, and other lived realities essential to understanding women’s lives.
This is an invitation to engage with the insights within this report, and to consider what becomes possible when the stories of those closest to the issues are not only heard, but used to shape the responses to them
